HUSTLE CULTURE: GETTING STARTED

CURIOUS MESS#1- VISIONS AND VISION BOARDS

I hate the stereotype people emphasize on each other based on their place of origin. Just because I am Nigerian doesn't mean that I am a fraudster or always in some sly scheme on duping people of their money, or I do black magic, or I know every person in Africa (as in the whole damn continent). I do not watch Nigerian movies. I am not loud (okay, maybe a bit). I do not even know how to shake my bum-bum to save my life, and I love rock music; I would pick it to any Afro-beat. Yet, it does not make me less of a Nigerian; although sometimes I do not behave like a stereotyped Nigerian (as I do not act like one), my accent betrays me.

I consider myself as an individual first capable of thinking outside of race, status, or gender. I want to believe I am capable of- anything.

Then, I am a curious mess.

To feel content, less bored, and boring- I do three things; remain curious, follow the GOOD leads of this curiousness, and manifest them into reality. What you see here is a work done in curiosity, with the hopes of reaching other curious-minded messes like me.

Today, I will like to talk about what a vision board is and why I created one in the first place.

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on what truly matters to you. A vision board is any board on which you display images that can represent whatever you want to be, do, or have in your life- Susan LaBorde.

This year is all about winning as a team which is why I want to share some of my tips on how to make a vision board that works. It's more than just pretty pictures and the law of attraction. Gather some friends for a vision board party and let's manifest baby! I'm proud to say I'm on my 4th vision board and I'm excited for you to also accomplish all your goals! Let's do it!!

I created my vision board because (I admit I can get carried away) I needed to focus on what is important to me and to monitor my growth since I have a wandering spirit that leads me to various curious paths. I also loved playing with paper-cuts and making things too.

Follow me through as I show you how to bring your vision board to life!
From career to lifestyle, to finance, and finally travel and adventure!

I am Valerie Lavito- Welcome.
