Do not get carried away when you get the chance to study abroad- It is sweet until you learn that your student visa on arrival does not permit you to take up employment; destroying your parent's expectations of you getting a job so they can stop sending your pocket money, believing that the dollar equivalent of your currency at your hometown would remain the same or the best one yet- that you start sending money back home to take care of the house affairs. Most times, they cannot even afford to complete paying your tuition fees leaving you stranded in another country.

Do not feel safe because you did not experience the cons of studying abroad. You could graduate and realize your best job is taking your fancy degree from one interview to another.
Your parents may conclude that all the money spent for your tuition is a waste and probably would have yielded more if they'd used it to play the lottery.

Or chances are, You are probably in one of those first world countries that believe that once you turn 18- You’re an adult and you should either start pulling your weight around the house or pack out!

Or you are just simply broke…

One thing all these scenarios have in common is- MONEY. 

We try different ways to make it too…

In my own situation- I just wanted to be financially free from my parents because I love the idea of being independent.
